VICTORIAN MEMBERSHIP PROCESS

Please note:  All membership cards will be posted separate to performance cards now known as competition licences.
                          Please be patient our office is working hard to have all your documents sent to you.

IMPORTANT:  Victoria is undertaking a 12 month trial, where ALL horses in ALL disciplines at ALL levels (Participant and Competitor) are to be registered. (The only exception being interschool horses)
                           Please ensure as part of your renewal that you include your horse registration documents if a new registration and you wish to compete.  Members have until the 1st October 2013 to complete the horse registration process.

All competition Licences (Performance Cards)  must be sent to our office for validation.

Dressage Young Rider Program Weekend Cancelled

Due to weather conditions the Young Rider Dressage Program which was to be held this weekend 15th - 16th June has been cancelled.

We will notify you of a new date with the possibility of the weekend running on the 29th - 30th June.  We will confirm shortly.

New Dressage Victoria Chair

Dressage Victoria has accepted the resignation of its current chair Susannah  Clarke effective immediately.

The Dressage Victoria  committee has nominated Mr Michael Bragge from Berwick & District Dressage Club a long standing commitee member of Dressage Victoria.

Michael has accepted the position as an interim Chair until committee elections take place in late 2013

Dressage Victoria and indeed Equestrian Victoria gratelfully acknowledge the work and achievements  of Susannah Clarke in her role as chair of Dressage and we wish Susannah all the very best for her furture and we trust you will all welcome Michael in his new position.

ALL VICTORIAN HORSES MUST BE REGISTERED BY THE 1ST OCTOBER 2013.  It is mandatory that participant and competitive members register their horses before they compete (only exception is Interschool competitiors)

Microchip days will be held at Werribee Park National Equestrian Centre at concessional rates for EV members to help facilitate this process.
Microchip days will be posted on our website.

New Class for 2013 Saddleworld Dressage Festival

The Saddleworld Dressage Festival Committee will trial a new class in 2013 for Newcomer or First Season Dressage Horses at Novice Level.

The test will be the EA 2D Test

Conditions of Entry:

For horses of an age in their first year of any level of competition.
Horses which have competed as a dressage horse in any event conducted by an organisation before 1st January 2013 are ineligible.  (Dressage phase of Eventing or Combined Training excepted).
The class is aimed at horses which have begun their dressage career later than normal or which were not shown in Young Horse classes.
A qualifying score may be required.
