EV announces Participation Program for Developing Riders

Equestrian Victoria (EV) is pleased to announce a number of clinics for developing equestrian riders in Victoria. The clinics are being funded by an Australian Sports Commission grant provided for the development of participation in equestrian sports in Victoria.

EV Chair Ingrid Green said, "This program is aimed at developing the next generation of passionate, young equestrian athletes. It is a great opportunity to provide education across a range of disciplines for our younger equestrians, giving them access to top level coaching in an environment where having fun is an important part of the learning process."

The program comprises three 'Come and Try' programs - Showing, Interschools and Eventing – plus Show Jumping Squadettes and Dressage Protocol days, and is a natural follow on from the Equestrian Australia 'Ready Set Trot' program, where riders are taught the fundamentals of horsemanship regardless of whether they have a horse or not.
