The selection panel of Tim Clarke, Paul Williams, Paul Brent and Gavin Chester have had the extremely difficult task of selecting these squads and Jumping Victoria thank them for their efforts.  Any concerns with selection can be addressed by email to [email protected]  As always I ask that parents not start off the squad year by giving their children a negative mindset-  by comparisons between riders, questioning validity of selections etc.  you are actually derailing the positive support of their sporting development by steering your child to resentment, self consciousness etc.  If a mistake or anomaly has occurred, lets prove the selectors wrong with your performances as I can assure you it is a genuine mistake- no favouritism, prejudice etc was a criteria for selection!!   Just have faith in the calibre of high quality jumping people involved in working this out.

Squad is a supportive environment for the junior riders and their parents to gain confidence in participating in Jumping to the best of their/their horses ability.  We strive to make it an enjoyable and informative process for all and there are lots of new sessions planned for this coming year.

Can I please have some photos sent through from the squad members from last season to use in the coming newsletters!  It always looks much better if there are piccies- so please send anything whether friends together, jumping photos, presentations etc.   State Squad members- I would like to showcase each of you in turn on the website so can you write me up a short bio of your achievements, horses etc with a photo.

The first squad newsletter detailing the plans for the year will be circulated in the very near future.

We thank Hygain for continuing their long term support of the jumping squads and look forward to a very successful year.
