Show Horse meeting 12th June 2015

Nationals:
Preparation for this year's Nationals is going well with majority of the Show Horse committee jumping on board and becoming a part of the Nationals organising committee for 2015.
For those of you who would like to sponsor or know someone who might like to sponsor a class or section at Nationals 2015 expressions of interest are welcomed, you will then be placed on our list to receive our prospectus package.

We have lodged our tender to host the event for the next three years and will be eagerly awaiting a response.

Nationals Team Victoria:
Team Victoria are working hard to ensure we have a very competitive well attired team representing us again this year. Team Vic will be hosting an online Facebook auction commencing at the end of June please make sure you get online and help support our Team Vic! More updates and information will be provided closer to the auction start time.

Barastoc :
The Barastoc subcommittee are currently working very hard on our schedule and looking at all areas of development for 2016, we are very excited to announce that we have additional breed societies getting on board Barastoc 2016 and believe that these societies have a lot to offer our Barastoc competitors.

Judges Seminar:
We are hosting our judges seminar on the 18th of July at Inglis Sales Complex Oaklands Junction. We have some excellent speakers covering a number of very relevant & interesting topics. We invite not only our current judges but also members who would like to become a judge to attend. RSVP is a must due to a catered lunch so please click here.

Multi qualifying show:
The Show horse committee has been liaising with VAS but unfortunately we haven't been able to come to an agreement that suits all parties. The Show Horse committee has not given up hope and will certainly keep looking at ways of making this initiative possible.

Measuring Day:
We will be hosting an official measuring day on the 11th of July 10am until 2pm a $10 fee per horse is applicable, bookings are not necessary.
This will be run in conjunction with our measurers training day.

Measuring Stand:
As mentioned in our last meeting debrief, the committee have put forward a proposal to WPNEC for the measuring stand to be relocated to a central location to aid safer and easier measuring of horses. WPNEC meet next week we look forward to their response and outcome.
