Show Jumping Squadettes

21 May, 4 June and 25/26 June at WPNEC

A training program for riders under 12 with a keen interest in jumping, the Squadettes provides a pathway from a very young age to develop the necessary skills to become a successful show jumping rider.

There are four training days, with the first held last weekend at WPNEC, where 35 children under 10 have the opportunity to learn the basics of show jumping and begin their life long journey of developing horse knowledge. Of course all of this is wrapped around having fun and the opportunity of forging friendships with fellow 'Squadettes'.

The days will consist of jumping, dressage and some fun theory lessons. Each member will be provided with a fantastic uniform of a cap, polo top, vest and carry bag as well as a yummy lunch.

Squadettes will also have the opportunity to see the best Victorian Junior and Young Riders train with professional coaches and there are plans to incorporate the Squadettes into the entertainment/display at the Australian Show Jumping Championships in September.
