Thank you for your ongoing support of Equestrian Victoria (EV). Your membership supports the continued improvement of equestrian sport within Victoria and the services we offer to our members and sport disciplines.

The 2019/20 financial year will see price increases in all membership categories between $5 to $10 including GST. This is due, in part, to an increase in Equestrian Australia's (EA) combined insurance and administration levies of 3.9%.

In contrast Equestrian Victoria's levy component has increased by approximately 2%. Your levies continue to provide you with comprehensive insurance cover through Gow Gates- Equestrian Australia insurers. It is important to note that EA has slightly reduced the insurance levy per (membership) category to reflect actual costs of insurance, plus associated costs for managing and administering the insurance. This was actioned at the request of the states following concern that an excessive profit element had been built into the EA insurance levy. The reduction in the EA insurance component has been redistributed to the EA Administration levy to provide a realistic usage of branch levies and in addition, the administration levy has attracted an additional increase of 1.3%, in line with CPI.

All renewals will be directed through EA's membership portal MyEA. All you need is your membership number and password.

MyEA provides greater efficiencies in the way EA members renew their memberships and registrations, allowing members to complete these tasks anywhere, anytime. Through MyEA members can do the following:

• View your Coaching or Officials qualifications and manage the information that is public
• View information of horses which you own
• View results • Register new horses and purchase competition licences. 
• Note: Competition licences will only be issued for those horses that have a microchip number recorded and all owners are current.
