Ride & Rise: Equestrian Victoria Volunteer Rewards Program
An EV volunteer is any person who freely offers their time, skills, and labour for the benefit of others or a cause, without receiving any financial payment.
Volunteers

If 18 years or over, must have a current child safeguarding card – WWCC, VIT or equivalent (More information – https://www.vic.equestrian.org.au/integrity)

Must have a profile in EA database ‘JustGo’ - https://equestrianaustralia.justgo.com - no membership required – but must choose ‘Victoria’ as the designated state. Upload child safeguarding card here under ‘credentials’.
How Volunteers Earn Points

Participation: Any volunteer role (general or discipline-specific): 10 points - 1 role per day.

Each separate day can be claimed if an event runs for multiple days

A full-day shift (6+ hrs): Is an extra +5 points
Education:

Any approved online module/workshop: 10 points per full day.

5 points for a course 4 hours or less (1 day education = more than 4 hours) . This includes: Any S.I.A. and Vic Sport child safe courses, AUS Sports Commission and Sport Medicine Australia courses and EV induction TBA.

EA officials' courses: 30 points includes new officials training TD/ CD, Stewards, jumping judges or CDs. (2 days plus pre learning =30 points)
Points Cap: A Max of 30 points per day.
Recognition Tiers

Bronze: 60pts → Digital badge + Volunteer Notebook & Pen e.g. 3 full day s rural or 2 days and 3 courses etc

Silver: 80pts +pts → EV merch (cap) + social media shout-out = 5 days or 4 days and 2 online courses etc

Gold: Over 100+ pts → EV Drink Bottle + mention annual report e.g. 5 days and a CD/TD course plus an online course

Platinum: 180+ pts → EV Platinum Volunteer Prize – Presented at EV Annual Awards Night.
Tracking

Self-tracking using the JotForm submission

Education completions logged via certificate details on the JotForm or provision of certificate from AUS sports commission education, VIC sport, Sport Medicine Australia -concussion Education etc.

Simple dashboard or excel spreadsheet for totals from Jot form
Prize Allocations
-
Platinum Prizes to be given at the awards and during the year at events.

Bronze, Silver, Gold prizes presented at the next event volunteer is attending, upon achievement.
