Announcement from the EV Board

Following the resignation of CEO Matthew Brown, Equestrian Victoria is undertaking a review of the scope of the CEO role and looking to fulfil the position after the 2021 Annual General Meeting on 16 November.

However, we have a legal and constitutional requirement to have a CEO fulfil specific functions, including the conduct of the AGM itself. To meet this requirement, the Board has asked EA CEO Darren Gocher to be honorary interim acting CEO. Our EV office will still carry out all usual functions for EV during this time.

Christie Freeman, Chair
on Behalf of the Equestrian Victoria Board
