Expressions of Interest - Interschool (ISV) Committee

Equestrian Victoria oversees the Interschool Victoria Committee (ISV). This includes a Chair of the Interschool Committee which is appointed by Equestrian Victoria.

EV seeks to provide more and better opportunities for participation for young riders to build their skills and have fun competing, through a structured model of delivery. The Committee seeks to have a range of skills and representation from areas across Victoria  Experience in Interschool, either as a past competitor, parent, organiser, judge or volunteer is preferred.

A background or skills in the following disciplines and or event management organisation are an advantage

• Dressage
• Jumping
• Eventing
• Show Horse

Further information regarding Interschool Victoria

• The ISV Committee is charged with the oversight of Interschool events including, but not limited to: Policies and Procedures, Standards, Rules, Safety, Accreditation, Scoring, Disputes and Team Selection.
• To build upon and develop the strong interschool cohort and junior rider skills in Victoria
• To facilitate access and understanding for all families wishing to participate in interschool competitions and training.
• To support organisers /schools in running of events
• Interschool Victoria Committee Maximum 11 members

APPOINTMENTS

• ISV Chair - Application process selected by EV Board
• Interschool Sports Administrator (EV Office Development and Event support) Appointment by EV
• VEIS representative - Nominated by VEIS
• General Committee
  At this time three members are sought through the application process. 
• Two year term minimum
