To Whom It Man Concern,
I write to you in relation to the opportunity to re-nominate for the Equestrian Victoria (EV) Board.
My 3 year tenure has recently lapsed and I am up for re-election. During my time on the Board I have developed a clear understanding of the problems that present themselves at both State and National level. I can also see the many genuine opportunities that are available to us. Personally it has been a challenging yet rewarding time as Chairperson of the Board. I would love the chance to utilise the experience I have gained to assist EV in the future.
My qualifications are as follows:
- I have been a qualified Chartered Accountant for 16 years, The industry I work with is small to medium sized businesses who focus on strategic business direction, compliance requirements, succession planning, wealth managements, and cashflow budgeting.
- I have been a Principal at the firm I work with for the last 9 years and recognise the pressures and responsibilities involved in running your own business.
- I have ridden horses for over 40 years and I am predominantly involved in Showjumping as a competitor, committee member of several clubs and show organiser.
- I have been in the EV Board for the last 3 years and enjoyed the role of Chairperson for the last 12 months.
- I have many contacts within different professions and industries whose skills and expertise can be utilised to assist my role on the board if elected.
Please consider my qualifications for re-election.
Kind Regards,
