EV Show Horse is pleased to report on the meeting conducted remotely on the evening of Tuesday 17th November.

It was agreed to conduct this show on one day only, being Saturday 28th November in order to comply with COVID Return to Play protocol. The schedule has been released and good entries . At the time of the meeting, 336 entries had been received with entries closing on Friday 20th November.

  • November 14th measuring was satisfactorily conducted with the on line pre booking system proving very efficient and of assistance to both participants and measurers.

  • This is to be a combined measuring with SHCV.
  • There will also be measuring at the Spring Show for competitors travelling more than 150kms to Werribee Park.
  • If numbers allow, additional measuring will be extended until the allocated time slots are filled at this show.

The EANSHC has indicated it will confirm dates and format for this important event after their meeting on December 14.

NATIONALS 2022-2024
Victoria has again tendered to conduct the Nationals for the next three year period. Our thanks to Sue McKay for her assistance in producing a tender application of which I am sure you would all be proud. The successful tender will be decided by EANSHC and advised in February 2021.

A new committee member has been appointed after the Expressions of Interest were considered by your committee. Subject to endorsement by the EV Board, we will confirm that position to you as soon as possible.

It has been brought to our attention that all media personnel need to be accredited to attend EV events. As a result, the committee has moved to ensure that our regular photographers, whom we value greatly,  have the correct accreditation.

Good luck with the return to competition and the committee looks forward to seeing you at our forthcoming events.

Please do not hesitate to approach any committee member if you would like to discuss any show horse issues.

Kind regards

Peter Heagney - Chair
