VALE LAURA THOMAS

The Showhorse community is deeply saddened by the loss of a wonderful member and friend, Laura Thomas. Laura passed away unexpectedly and her passing has left a very significant void in many hearts and minds.

Laura is from a famous equestrian family, her parents being Raymond Thomas and the late Mrs Sarah Thomas. She was a highly successful and respected competitor and judge, with extraordinary talent. Laura represented Victoria to win at National level and was an outstanding young horsewoman. Her sportsmanship and generosity of spirit warmed all around her.  

Laura had an exuberant and colourful personality, making friends and memories wherever she went, and with whoever she met.

Our sympathies are extended to family and friends, particularly Laura’s father Raymond and brother Richard, who mourn the loss of the irreplaceable Laura.

Funeral details are: Wednesday 23 October 2019 11am St Andrew’s Uniting Church in Sunbury.
