Guest Speaker: Anton Phillips, a UK animal rescue specialist
Anton has spent many years studying animal psychology and physiology, which has enabled the fire and rescue service to achieve safer working practices.
Anton, with his wealth of animal experiences, entertained and informed members of the emergency services, CFA Metro Fire Brigade, Vic SES, NSW SES and veterinarians on all thing’s large animal rescue recently.

EA will reaccredit a qualified Coach subject to annual renewal of their Coach Registration. In June of each year when annual Coach Registration is due. EA link http://www.equestrian.org.au/content/am-i-required-do-coaching-updates

• Coach registration renewal form and payment 
• EA Coach Updating Summary – including records of attendance at a Compulsory Update Clinic (This replaces the ASC Coach’s Logbook – which is no longer produced) 
• A copy of their current First Aid Certificate 
• A copy of EA Membership/EA Number 
• A copy of a current Certificate of Insurance or pay additional fees to purchase EA Insurance 
• Coaches are required to progressively fulfil approved updating requirements to keep their coaching knowledge and skills up to date – which count for “updating points”. Coaches are recommended to keep copies of their own records. Updating activities should be outlined in the EA Coach Updating Summary, and where possible verified with certificates or receipts. A condition of maintaining accreditation is that it is compulsory for all Coaches to attend a Compulsory Coach Update Clinic biennially (once every three years).
